Suspect wanted for burglary at Silver Spring International Middle School


Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect caught on surveillance video in a burglary at Silver Spring International Middle School in the 300 block of Wayne Ave.

At approximately 9:49 p.m. on Sept. 25, officers from the 3rd District responded to the location to report a burglary, the MCPD said in a news release. According to detectives, the suspect broke into the school, stole items from the classrooms and fled. After reviewing school surveillance cameras, detectives were able to obtain a description of the suspect.

MCPD said the suspect is described as a Caucasian male, medium build, medium height, gray hair, in his 40s Where 50 years old, wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, gray pants and white and gray tennis shoes.

A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information leading to the suspect’s arrest. Callers can remain anonymous.
