Magnify Media, UK distributor owned by Plimsoll Productions, is launching a format showcase ahead of MIPCOM next week.
The new formats showcase will offer scripted and unscripted products, including 10 x 28 minutes raft of love, produced by Story Productions for DR3 in Denmark. He follows 10 singles who are paired up as couples and spend 10 days navigating a river on a raft, hoping to help them fall in love.
8 x 30 minutes from Bermuda Productions Two of a kind, meanwhile, was produced for TV2 in Denmark and explores how two almost identical houses can have very different prices depending on where they are located in the country. The format is a guessing game with three real estate experts competing on a road trip, but also a look at this price disparity.
The 5 x 60 minutes Is my country wronged? was produced by Joined Up Films for SBS in Australia, each episode delving into the results of a nationwide survey that takes the nation’s temperature on moving topics like ageism, racism, sexism, obesity and handicap.
Andrea Jackson, CEO of Magnify Media, commented, âWe pride ourselves on seeking distinctive formats that capture an idea or experience that resonates across cultures.
âEach of these formats has a recognizable truth at the heart of the idea that gives the format meaning or makes it funny. We are excited to launch these new formats during our online formats showcase.
