Adele has reportedly set new dates for her highly anticipated Las Vegas residency, scheduled to start in November this year.
The concerts were originally scheduled for January at Caesars Palace, which the 34-year-old canceled just 24 hours before the scheduled shows.
The Easy with me hit-maker has yet to officially announce the dates for the show, however, leaked information from Ticketmaster in the US has claimed that Adele’s show will take place by the end of this year according to The sun.
“The buzz is that we’re gearing up for a booking announcement before the end of the month,” an insider told the publication.
“It’s been an extremely stressful time for the executive here because they’ve staked so much money on his contract,” the source added. “It will be a huge relief once the dates are re-booked.”
“They made the decision to wait for Adele to be ready, but it was nerve-wracking because no one expected the wait to be that long,” the outlet reported.
The new venue for the shows would be the Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood Las Vegas, which seats 7,000 superstar fans.
Previously, during an appearance on BBC Radio 4 Desert Island Records, Adele said the public reaction to the postponement of the shows left her feeling like a “shell of a person”.
“I was scared to let them down and thought I could pull myself together and make it work, and I couldn’t,” she said.
“I stand by this decision. I don’t think any other artist would have done what I did, and I think that’s why it was such a massive, massive story,” the singer continued.
