2 Structures Confirmed Destroyed in White City Fire | fire watch

WHITE CITY, Oregon – UPDATED 6:48 PM Two structures are confirmed to be destroyed and 15 are still at risk near the area.

ODF Southwest and FD3 are at the scene of a structure and grass fire already estimated at 5 acres.

ODF Southwest said the fire’s progress has been stopped.

Firefighters will continue cleaning operations and ensure that new spot fires do not break out.

Many engines and helicopters are on hand to help

The fire is located just outside White City on Corey Road and Foothill Road.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, evacuations near the fire are door-to-door.

Jackson County has issued a LEVEL TWO BE SET evacuation notice for OR-140 south at Dry Creek Road and McLoughlin Drive east in Kersh.

The LEVEL ONE BE READY evacuation advisory near East Antelope Road is still in effect.

Roads near the fire are also temporarily closed according to Jackson County Roads.
